Job summary

DAIKIN COMFORT TECHNOLOGIES NORTHEAST, I is seeking a Local Driver to safely operate company trucks for timely product deliveries and pickups at customer sites and branch locations.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, maintaining logs per DOT rules, operating forklifts, performing warehouse and front counter duties, and providing excellent customer service. Must lift up to 40 lbs and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of driving a commercial vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
• High school diploma or GED; DOT screening annually.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and deliver product to customer sites within designated time frames safely.
• Maintain logs and reports per DOT policy and company rules.
• Safely load/brace/care for cargo and operate forklifts as needed.
• Perform pre-checks and post-checks on vehicles and forklifts.
• Perform warehouse duties and assist at front counter when required.
