Local Delivery Driver (CDL A)

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10‑12 stops per day, handling freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazardous material shipping order paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct and report pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections.
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance.
• Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet business goals and customer needs.
• Continuously build knowledge of Linde’s business operations to support organizational growth, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and proficiency in reading and writing in English.
• Minimum 2 years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a truck driving school, plus a valid Class A CDL.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Current hazmat endorsement on CDL or ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past 2 years.
• No alcohol‑related convictions within the last 10 years.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
• Capability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds.

Pay rate: $36.25 hourly
