Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment in Fresno, CA is seeking a Local Delivery Driver (CDL A). You will be responsible for delivering products to customers, making 10-12 stops daily while ensuring compliance with regulations and providing excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, two years of driving experience, and a valid Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement. The pay ranges from $23.58 to $34.59 per hour.

Qualifications

What you will enjoy doing*

• You will deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
• You are expected to complete hazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance.
• You will build both relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives of the business and customer needs.
• And you will continuously build your knowledge on how Linde’s business operates and succeeds to help organization to continue growing, plus other duties as assigned.

What Makes You Great

• You have a high school diploma or GED, along with proficiency in reading and writing in English.
• You will have two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School, along with a valid Class A CDL.
• This role requires you to be 21 years or older.
• You currently have a hazmat endorsement on your CDL or must obtain one within 60 days of hire.
• You are expected to not have any preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two (2) years.
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten (10) years.
• You must be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
• You have the ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds.

Pay Range

$23.58 - $34.59 hourly
