Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment is looking for a Local Delivery Driver (CDL B) in Williamsport, PA. You will be responsible for delivering products to customers, making an average of 10-12 stops per day while providing excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of consecutive driving experience along with a valid Class B CDL. Qualifications

• 2 years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School.
• Current hazmat endorsement on your CDL, or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds.

• Complete hazardous material shipping orders in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
• Complete hazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT regulations
• Conduct and report pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
• Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet business and customer needs
• Continuously build knowledge of how Linde’s business operates and succeeds to help the organization continue growing, plus other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, with proficiency in reading and writing in English
• 2 years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School, along with a valid Class B CDL
• Must be 21 years or older
• Current hazmat endorsement on your CDL or willingness to obtain one within 60 days of hire
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past 2 years
• No alcohol‑related convictions within the last 10 years
• Must pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds
