• During the training period, the driver will receive $25.00 an hour until fully qualified.

The position involves delivering to various customers, including Foodservice, and driving the delivery vehicle to deliver products to stores. Responsibilities include rotating and stocking products on shelves, displays, coolers, and vending equipment, as well as building displays and setting up promotional materials like signs and banners. The role also involves generating invoices and handling daily cash and charge settlements. Frequent interaction with store management and receiving personnel is required for load acceptance. The job requires lifting and loading cases weighing 20-45 pounds repeatedly, pushing/pulling with force up to 150 pounds occasionally, and reaching, squatting, and bending during deliveries and merchandising. Unloading pallets with equipment like pallet jacks or hand trucks and placing products in designated areas in the backroom are also part of the duties.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

• Deliver products and execute promotions.
• Service all scheduled customers by the end of each shift.
• Merchandise accounts according to local standards.
• Establish positive relationships with primary contacts at each account.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :

• 21 years or older.
• Pass the DOT drug test and DOT Physical.
• Valid U.S. CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (if applicable).

Note : In all California locations except Stockton, both non-excepted intrastate and non-excepted interstate statuses are accepted. In Stockton, CA, only non-excepted interstate status is accepted.

HELPFUL EXPERIENCE :

• Operating trucks requiring a valid U.S. CDL, including basic maneuvers.
• Adhering to DOT regulations, such as maintaining current documentation like medical cards.
• Merchandising, including filling shelves, building displays, and rotating products.
• Using equipment like pallet jacks, dock plates, and load straps.
• Operating equipment such as pallet jacks and lift gates.
• Understanding and documenting DOT regulations.
