Job summary

United Future in Nashville is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent to coordinate jobsite operations and directly supervise field personnel to complete projects on schedule and within budget. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and strong leadership across subs, vendors, and trades.

Backed by a local GC with a robust backlog, the candidate will manage TI and ground-up projects in retail, restaurant, and light-industrial sectors, with potential regional travel and a strong bonus

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with on-site supervision of commercial construction.
• Ground-up commercial experience preferred for projects of $1-3 Million.
• Tenant Improvement and Interiors experience required.
• College degree preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the workflow of ongoing projects in line with schedule and budget.
• Communicate project priorities to subcontractors.
• Identify and solve problems to maintain the project timeline.
• Ensure quality workmanship per plans and specifications.
• Create and manage job schedules.
• Supervise final punch-out.
• Read and interpret building plans.
• Build positive relationships with customers, contractors, and suppliers.
• Promote and implement job site safety.
• Travel within region as needed.
• Manage projects ranging from TI to ground-up in various commercial settings.
