Job summary

KingRecruitingServices is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent to coordinate Nashville jobsite operations and supervise field personnel to complete projects on time and within budget while promoting a safe work environment.

The role covers ground-up and tenant-improvement work across retail, office, and mixed-use developments, with a focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction. Local projects only, with strong backlog and branding.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of on-site supervision experience in commercial construction.
• Ground-up commercial experience is preferred for larger projects.
• Tenant improvement and interiors experience a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Direct the workflow in line with project schedule and budget.
• Communicate priorities to subcontractors and vendors.
• Identify and problem-solve to maintain schedule.
• Ensure quality workmanship per plans and specs.
• Create and manage detailed job schedules.
• Supervise final punch-out.
• Read and interpret building plans.
• Foster positive relationships with customers, contractors, and suppliers.
• Promote and enforce site safety.
• Travel within region as needed.
• Projects range from TI to ground-up across multiple commercial types.
