Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) in Portland, OR to safely operate a collection truck and provide courteous waste removal services. The role requires maintaining vehicle safety standards and complying with all regulations while on duty.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement is required.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a collection truck on assigned routes and service each customer promptly.
• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections and complete VCRs daily.
• Load refuse and operate the packer while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and co-workers.
• Complete required route/productivity sheets and reports and maintain productivity standards.
