Veit is seeking a reliable CDL driver to deliver and pick up roll-off containers in and around Rochester, NY. You will adhere to DOT hours-of-service, complete electronic work orders for customer billing, and maintain a clean, safe vehicle and job site while representing Veit professionally.

This role requires a High School diploma or GED, Class A or B CDL, a DOT medical card, and the ability to read maps and navigate with GPS.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED plus six months of related experience or training.
• CDL Class A or B is required.
• DOT medical card required for operating a DOT vehicle.
• Experience with email and electronic tracking or ability to learn new computer hardware/software.
• Ability to read maps and navigate with GPS.
• Ability to follow safety precautions and Veit's safety policies.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug test.
• 8–12 hour shifts, Monday–Friday with possible weekends.
• Must maintain satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record.

Mansioni

• Deliver and pick up roll-off containers in and around Rochester, NY.
• Complete work orders on Android tablet for customer billing.
• Adhere to DOT hours-of-service and coordinate with Dispatch.
• Represent Veit professionally on site and on road.
• Communicate pickup or delivery changes to Dispatch and Sales.
• Maintain appearance of equipment and perform inspections.
• Assist with other projects as assigned by management.
