Job summary

VEIT is seeking a CDL driver to deliver and pick up roll-off containers in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area. You will complete work orders on an Android tablet, communicate with Dispatch, and maintain DOT compliance while representing Veit positively on site and with customers.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid CDL (A or B), a DOT medical card, and the ability to read maps and navigate with GPS. This union role offers benefits and requires reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class A or B license required.
• DOT medical card required.
• Experience using email and electronic tracking preferred.
• Ability to read maps and navigate with GPS.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test.
• Excellent attendance and reliable schedule.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up roll-off containers.
• Complete work orders on Android tablet.
• Maintain DOT hours-of-service compliance with Dispatch.
• Represent Veit professionally on site and on road.
• Coordinate pickup/delivery changes with Dispatch.
• Inspect equipment and report issues to mechanics.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Follow safety procedures and policies.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
