Veit is seeking a Driver to haul materials to and from job sites across the Duluth area. You will load and unload trucks, perform manual labor as needed, and help keep job sites safe and organized.

Candidates must have a valid CDL Class A, a high school diploma or equivalent, and knowledge of FMCSA/DOT rules, Hours of Service, and ELD usage. Strong communication and reliable attendance are essential, with safety and teamwork as core values at Veit.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent, six to twelve months of construction experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current and valid CDL Class A license.
• Working knowledge of FMCSA and DOT rules, especially Hours of Service.
• Ability to use Electronic Logging Device (ELD).
• Ability to read maps, follow directions, and navigate with GPS.
• Ability to understand and comply with safety protocols and maintain safety standards.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written, with management and on-site teams.
• Reliably meet attendance schedules as required.

Responsabilidades

• Hauls various construction materials to and from jobsite locations.
• Loads and unloads trucks; hauls and hoists materials.
• Performs manual labor at construction sites as needed.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervision.
• Maintains a clean job site and secures loads daily.
• Completes other projects or duties as assigned by management.
• Keeps supervisor informed of actions affecting operations.
• Follows daily procedures and training protocols.
• Performs routine inspection and maintenance on equipment; reports defects.
