48forty Solutions, LLC is seeking a CDL Driver in Hammond, LA. You will handle local truckload deliveries with drop and hook, driving an automatic 53’ truck on 10–12 hour shifts, about 3–5 routes per shift.

Compensation includes $21.00/hr with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and weekend off, home daily, and no touch freight. Benefits include Paid Time Off, 401(k), and comprehensive insurance options for eligible full-time employees.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license held and current within the last 3 years.
• Must pass a DOT medical exam and have a valid CMV license.
• English reading/writing/speaking proficiency required.
• PSP score 10 or below in past 3 years is preferred.
• No more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years.

Responsibilities

Overview

As a CDL Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$21.00/hr with $5,000 sign on bonus ($2,500 paid at 30 days, $2,500 portion paid at 90 days)

Shift(s):

Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook
• Deliver and pick up trailers within (500 miles) making about (3-5 routes) routes per shift
• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for (10-12 of hours) shifts

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older
• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician
• No record of being disqualified to drive
• Successful completion of a DOT road test
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
