Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a CDL-A driver to handle local truckload deliveries with primarily drop and hook duties. You will deliver and pick up trailers within a 150-mile radius, typically 3–4 routes per shift, and operate an automatic 53' truck for 9–10 hour shifts.

The position offers a $29.50/hour pay, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, and benefits. Weekdays, home daily, with no-touch freight for eligible full-time roles.

Qualifications

• 1 year CDL-A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid CDL license for commercial operation.

As a CDL Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$29.50/hr with $5,000 sign on bonus ($2,500 paid at 30 days, $2,500 portion paid at 90 days)

Monday - Friday: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within (150 miles) making about (3-4 of routes) routes per shift

• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for (9-10 of hours) shifts

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
