Job summary

48forty Solutions, LLC is seeking a Local Class A Driver in Douglas, GA. You will handle local truckload deliveries, drop and hook, and operate a 53' dry van within a 100-mile radius.

This role offers $22.00 per hour with a $5,000 sign-on bonus ($2,500 at 30 days and $2,500 at 90 days), plus benefits and daily home time. Shift includes Friday-Sunday 5:30pm–5:00am, with weekends off in some cases.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license and local driving experience required.
• Must be at least 23 years old and able to read/write English.
• Must pass a DOT physical and have a valid CMV license.
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years or lower.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook.
• Deliver and pick up trailers within 100 miles.
• Drive an automatic, 53' truck/dry van.

As a Local Class A Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$22.00/hr., plus a $5,000 Sign-on Bonus!

(2,500 paid at 30 days and 2,500 paid at 90 days)

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook
• Deliver and pick up trailers within 100 miles
• Drive an automatic, 53' truck/dry van

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past year
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older
• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician
• No record of being disqualified to drive
• Successful completion of a DOT road test
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years - a higher score will be reviewed
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
