48forty Solutions, LLC is seeking a CDL Driver in Dunn, NC. The role offers weekends off, daily home time, and no-touch freight with a $23.50/hour base pay and a $5,000 sign-on bonus ($2,500 at 30 days, $2,500 at 90 days).

The position involves local truckload deliveries, 150 air mile trailer moves per shift, and operating an automatic 53’ truck for 8–10 hour shifts. Must meet DOT and licensing requirements.

Overview

As a CDL Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$23.50/hr with $5,000 sign on bonus ($2,500 paid at 30 days, $2,500 portion paid at 90 days)

Shift(s):

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 5:00pm start time

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within 150 air miles per shift

• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for 8-10 hour shifts

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
