48forty Solutions is the largest pallet management services company in North America, headquartered in the United States. We are seeking a Local CDL Driver to join our team in Pompano Beach, FL, with a Monday–Friday schedule and 7:00am–3:30pm shifts.

Qualifications

• CDL-A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Possess a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Must pass a DOT physical by a nationally registered provider.
• DOT road test completion required.
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR is preferred.
• Reading/writing English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Handle local truckload deliveries; drop and hook.
• Deliver and pick up trailers within about 100 miles; 4–8 routes per shift.
• Operate 10-speed manual trucks; 53' dry vans and flat beds.
• Full-time, permanent; 8-hour shifts with weekly pay and benefits on day one.

Overview

As a Local CDL Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight! Full-time, permanent position with weekly pay and benefits on day one

Hourly Pay:

$22.00/hr. with $5,000 sign on bonus ($2,500 paid at 30 days, $2,500 portion paid at 90 days)

Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within (100 miles) making about (4-8) routes per shift

• 10 speed manual trucks; 53' dry vans and flat beds. Full-time, permanent position with weekly pay and benefits on day one! for (8 hour) shifts

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years - a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
