48forty Solutions, LLC is seeking a CDL-A Driver in Lockport, IL. You will perform local truckload deliveries, with home daily schedules and weekends off, and no-touch freight. The role offers an hourly pay of $29.00 with a $5,000 sign-on bonus across the first few months.

The position requires a CDL-A with at least 1 year driving in the past 3 years, clean driving record, and DOT medical certification. You’ll operate an automatic 53’ dry van and join a team focused on reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• One year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Must possess a valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
• Must pass a DOT physical by a nationally registered provider
• No disqualifications to drive; PSP scores monitored

Overview

As a CDL Driver, you'll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$29.00/hr. with $5,000 sign on bonus ($2,500 paid at 30 days, $2,500 portion paid at 90 days)

Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within (# of miles) making about (# of routes) routes per shift

• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for (# of hours) shifts

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
