Job summary

48forty Solutions Dunn, NC is seeking a CDL-A Driver for local pallet deliveries. You will earn $23.50 per hour on the 2nd shift, Mon–Fri 5:00pm start, and come home daily with no touch freight. Drive an automatic 53’ dry van during 8–10 hour shifts and perform drop-and-hook duties.

Requirements include 1 year CDL-A experience within the last 3 years, valid CDL, DOT physical, and English proficiency. Benefits include competitive pay, time off, and retirement plans.

• 1 year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Must possess a valid CDL-AMotor vehicle license.
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician.
• No disqualifications to drive; successful DOT road test.
• PSP score of 10 or below in past 3 years; <=2 moving violations in 3 years.
• English reading/writing proficiency.

$23.50/hr

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within 150 air miles per shift

• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for 8-10 hour shifts

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
