48forty Solutions is hiring a CDL Driver in Northampton, PA. Expect a 2nd shift Monday–Friday, 5:00pm start, with training on days during the first week. Local routes within 100 miles and no touch freight. Earn $27.00 per hour plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

We require at least 1 year of CDL-A experience, be 23+ years old, and have a valid CDL-A and DOT medical certification. PSP and driving record considerations apply.

Qualifications

• 1 year of CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Must possess a valid commercial driver's license (CDL-A) and DOT medical card.
• Must read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Must pass a DOT road test and have a clean PSP/demerits history.

Responsibilities

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook.
• Deliver and pick up trailers within 100 miles making about 3 routes per shift.
• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for 8-10 hour shifts.

Hourly Pay

$27.00/hr with $2,500 sign on bonus (majority paid at 30 days, second portion paid at 90 days)

2nd Shift Monday - Friday 5:00pm start time

(Training occurs for the first week on day shift)

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook
• Deliver and pick up trailers within 100 miles making about 3 routes per shift
• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for 8-10 hour shifts
• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older
• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician
• No record of being disqualified to drive
• Successful completion of a DOT road test
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years - a higher score will be reviewed
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
