Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a CDL Driver in San Antonio, TX. You will handle local truckload deliveries with drop & hook, driving a 53’ automatic dry van on a 40–50 hour shift. You’ll be home daily, weekends off, with no touch freight and competitive pay.

Qualifications

Hourly Pay

$24.00/hr

Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 8:00pm rotating days off during the week and Saturdays

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook
• Deliver and pick up trailers within 250 miles making about 8 routes per shift
• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for 40-50 hours shifts

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older
• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician
• No record of being disqualified to drive
• Successful completion of a DOT road test
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
