Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a CDL Driver in Houston, TX, offering competitive pay, weekends off, home daily and no-touch freight. You will handle local truckload deliveries, primarily drop and hook, with about 5-6 routes per shift and a 10-11 hour day on an automatic 53’ truck.

We require CDL-A, DOT medical and a valid license, plus English proficiency. Earn $24.00 per hour on 1st shift, with benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• 1 year CDL-A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician.
• No record of being disqualified to drive.
• Successful completion of a DOT road test.
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Candidates with logistics, warehouse, OTR experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

1st Shift: Monday - Friday 5:30am - 5:00pm and twice a month 1/2 day Saturday

What You’ll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook
• Deliver and pick up trailers within 120 miles making about 5-6 routes per shift
• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for 10-11 hours shifts

What You’ll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years
