48forty Solutions is the largest pallet management services company in North America, offering local CDL-A driving opportunities in Houston with home daily schedules and no touch freight. You will handle local truckload deliveries, operate a 53' automatic tractor-trailer, and complete 5–6 routes per shift on 10–11 hour days.

We provide competitive pay from $24.00/hr, weekends off, and benefits like medical and 401(k).

Qualifications

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Must possess a valid CDL license to operate a CMV.
• Must pass a DOT Physical by a certified physician.
• No record of being disqualified to drive.
• Successful completion of a DOT road test.
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years.
• Experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR preferred.
• Must read/write/speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

Overview

As a CDL Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$24.00/hr

Shift(s):

1st Shift: Monday - Friday 5:30am - 5:00pm and twice a month 1/2 day Saturday

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within 120 miles making about 5-6 routes per shift

• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for 10-11 hours shifts

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
