Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a CDL Driver in San Antonio, TX. You’ll handle local truckload deliveries, mostly drop and hook, and may drive 53' trailers on 40- to 50-hour shifts. The role offers home daily schedules with weekends off and competitive pay.

Starting pay is $24.00/hr with full-time benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k). Candidates must have CDL-A, valid CMV license, pass a DOT physical, and meet PSP and driving-history requirements.

Qualifications

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician.
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years - a higher score will be reviewed.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

Hourly Pay

Shift Monday - Friday 600am - 800pm rotating days off during the week and Saturdays

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook
• Deliver and pick up trailers within 250 miles making about 8 routes per shift
• Drive an automatic, 53' truck/dry van for 40-50 hours shifts
• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older
• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician
• No record of being disqualified to drive
• Successful completion of a DOT road test
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years - a higher score will be reviewed
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
