Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a CDL Driver in Amarillo, TX. This role features a first shift, home daily, no touch freight, and competitive hourly pay of $21.00/hr. You will handle local truckload deliveries, primarily drop and hook, with 6-7 routes per shift.

The position requires 1 year of CDL-A experience within the last 3 years, valid CDL, DOT physical, and a clean PSP and driving record. Reading/writing/speaking English proficiently is required.

Qualifications

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid CDL to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician.
• No record of being disqualified to drive.
• Successful completion of a DOT road test.
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Overview

As a CDL Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$21.00/hr

Shift(s):

1st Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 3:30pm

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers making about 6-7 routes per shift

• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for 10-12 hour shifts

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle
