48forty Solutions in Hammond, LA is seeking a CDL Driver for local truckload deliveries, primarily drop and hook, with about 3-5 routes per shift. You’ll operate an automatic 53’ dry van on 10–12 hour shifts and typically have weekends off and home daily.

Qualifications include 1 year of CDL-A driving in the last 3 years, minimum age 23, a valid CDL and DOT medical card, and clean PSP and driving records. We offer competitive pay and full benefits.

• 1 year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Must possess a valid commercial driver’s license.
• Must pass a DOT physical from a nationally registered DOT-approved physician.
• No record of disqualification to drive.
• Successful completion of a DOT road test.
• PSP scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years; higher scores reviewed.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

As a CDL Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook


• Deliver and pick up trailers within (500 of miles) making about (3-5) routes per shift


• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for (10-12 of hours) shifts

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years


• Must be at least 23 years of age or older


• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle


• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician


• No record of being disqualified to drive


• Successful completion of a DOT road test


• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed


• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years


• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred


• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
