48forty Solutions is seeking a CDL Driver based in Eastford, CT. This role offers competitive hourly pay of $25, weekends off, and the chance to be home daily. Responsibilities include local deliveries using a 53' truck. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of CDL-A experience, a valid commercial driving license, and must be at least 23 years old. • Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Must possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
• Must pass a DOT Physical.
• No record of disqualification to drive.
• Successful completion of a DOT road test.
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; 98% drop and hook.
• Drive 2-5 routes per shift within 150 miles.
• Operate an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for 8–11 hour shifts.

Overview

As a CDL Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$25.00/hr

Shift(s):

1st Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm

Eastford, CT 06242

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; 98% drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within 150 miles making about 2-5 routes per shift

• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for 8–11 hour shifts

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
