Job summary

48forty Solutions, LLC is seeking a CDL Driver for Dunn, NC. The role offers an hourly wage of $23.50 with 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 5:00pm start) and local, drop-and-hook deliveries. You’ll be home daily with weekends off and no-touch freight, driving an automatic 53’ dry van on 8–10 hour shifts.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of CDL-A experience, must be 23+, and capable of passing a DOT physical and road test. Reading, writing and speaking English proficiently is required.

Overview

As a CDL Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$23.50/hr

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 5:00pm start time

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within 150 air miles per shift

• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for 8-10 hour shifts

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
