48forty Solutions LLC in Willimantic, CT is seeking a CDL-A driver for local routes with 8- to 11-hour shifts, 2-5 routes per shift, and no-touch freight. Earn $25.00 per hour on first shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm, with home daily.

Responsibilities include local truckload deliveries, 53' dry van, drop and hook, and meeting DOT requirements; candidates must have CDL-A in past 3 years, be 23 or older, pass a DOT physical, and maintain a clean PSP history.

Qualifications

• 1 year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Must possess a valid CDL license for CMV operation.
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician.
• No disqualifications to drive.
• DOT road test completion required.
• PSP score 10 or below in past 3 years; higher score reviewed.
• No more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years.

Overview

As a CDL Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$25.00/hr

Shift(s):

1st Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; 98% primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within 150 miles making about 2-5 routes per shift

• Drive an automatic, 53' truck/dry van for 8-11 hour shifts

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years - a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
