Job summary

48forty Solutions, the leading pallet management provider, is seeking a CDL Driver in Bartow, FL. This role offers home daily schedules, weekends off, and no-touch freight with $21.00 per hour pay for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 5:00am start).

Responsibilities include local truckload deliveries, drop and hook, and trailer handling in a 53' auto truck. Required: CDL-A, 23+ years, DOT medical and road test; clean PSP and driving record.

Qualifications

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid commercial driver's license.
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician.
• No disqualifications to drive.
• Successful completion of a DOT road test.
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.

Overview

As a CDL Driver, you'll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$21.00/hr.

Shift(s):

1st Shift: Monday-Friday 5:00am Start Time

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within (# of miles) making about (# of routes) routes per shift

• Drive an automatic, 53' truck/dry van for (# of hours) shifts

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
