48forty Solutions in Charlotte, NC is seeking a CDL Driver to handle local truckload deliveries and live within 150 miles with 4–5 routes per shift. Expect 8–10 hour shifts in an automatic, 53’ truck with no touch freight.

Required: 1 year CDL-A driving in the past 3 years, at least 23 years old, valid CDL, and a DOT physical. PSP score under 10 and no disqualifications are preferred. Competitive pay and benefits included.

• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Must possess a valid commercial driver’s license.
• Must pass a DOT physical from a nationally registered DOT-approved physician.
• No record of being disqualified to drive.
• Successful completion of a DOT road test.
• PSP score 10 or below in past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years.

Overview

As a CDL Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$26.00/hr

Shift(s):

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:00pm

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within 150 miles making about 4-5 routes per shift

• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for 8-10 hour shifts

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
