Job summary

48forty Solutions in Dunn, NC is seeking a CDL Driver for 2nd shift. You'll handle local truckload deliveries, mostly drop and hook, with home daily and no touch freight. Expect 2-5 routes per shift on a 53' dry van, with 8- to 12-hour shifts and an automatic tractor.

Qualifications

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Must possess a valid CDL-A license for commercial driving.
• DOT physical and Road Test completion required.
• Clean PSP with limited moving violations in 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Handle local truckload deliveries, primarily drop and hook.
• Deliver and pick up trailers within 150 air miles, 2-5 routes per shift.
• Drive an automatic 53' truck/dry van for 8-12 hour shifts.

Job description

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook
• Deliver and pick up trailers within 150 air miles making about 2-5 routes per shift
• Drive an automatic, 53' truck/dry van for 8 -12 hour shifts

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older
• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician
• No record of being disqualified to drive
• Successful completion of a DOT road test
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years - a higher score will be reviewed
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
