Job summary

48forty Solutions, LLC is currently seeking a CDL Driver in Dunn, NC. This role offers competitive hourly pay, weekends off, and home daily with no touch freight. The position runs 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, with start time at 5:00pm.

You will handle local truckload deliveries, primarily drop and hook, and operate an automatic 53’ truck/dry van. Requirements include a valid CDL-A, DOT medical certification, and a clean PSP/driving record. Excellent English skills are required.

Qualifications

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

Overview

As a CDL Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$23.50/hr

Shift(s):

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 5:00pm start time

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within (# of miles) making about (# of routes) routes per shift

• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for (# of hours) shifts

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
