Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a Local Driver in Anderson, SC to join our team. You’ll work local deliveries, be home daily, with weekends off and no touch freight, offering competitive pay and benefits.

Hourly pay ranges from $23.00 to $24.00, with full-time hours and a Monday–Friday schedule. Applicants must have CDL-A, be at least 23, and pass a DOT physical and road test while maintaining a clean PSP history. We offer medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past year.
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician.
• No record of being disqualified to drive.
• Successful completion of a DOT road test.
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook.
• Operate 53' dry van, walking floor, and mulch cargo.
