Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Driver with a Class B CDL to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services to customers in Midland, TX. The role ensures vehicle compliance with safety standards and completion of daily vehicle condition reports (VCRs) and productivity sheets.

Bonuses are offered and benefits are provided to eligible employees. The driver will read route sheets, follow maps, load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose of material

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels and safety equipment are in working order.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on the designated route and service each customer as listed on the route sheet.
• Load refuse and operate the compactor, disposing of material at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and colleagues to service routes on time.
• Complete required route/productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports (VCRs).
• Adhere to safety policies and company procedures and participate in the ReSOP program.
