Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver with a Class B CDL and air brakes endorsement to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal service. Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and proper function.
• Safely operate the truck on designated routes and service customers as planned.
• Read route sheets, follow maps, and coordinate with dispatch to complete daily tasks.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers.
• Document vehicle conditions and report any defects or safety concerns.
• Maintain required productivity standards and adhere to safety policies.
