Job summary

Buckhead North Carolina in Charlotte is seeking a responsible driver to manage daily routes, load and unload merchandise, and coordinate with the Transportation Department Manager. You will operate a night-shift-delivery process, pick up from loading dock, and return truck to lot.

Candidates should have a valid Class B CDL, at least one year of route delivery experience, and good English for reporting and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• One-year route delivery experience or driving a straight truck.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License - Class B (Class A preferred).
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for customer interaction and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer, by hand or hand cart, and place in designated storage areas.
• Lift 1-75 pounds frequently, up to 100 pounds; stack pallets and use a hand cart.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures; communicate discrepancies.
• Address shorts calls and handle customer complaints professionally.
• Follow DOT safety rules and perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
