Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver to haul local intermodal freight with a home-daily schedule, typically Monday–Friday. Expect a start time around 9:00 PM and about 50 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime when freight volume allows.

Earn an average annual pay of $80,000–$85,000, with a $5,000 bonus and additional safety/exception pay. 100% container/chassis freight, about 1,175 miles weekly, uniforms provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• DOT Medical Card required.
• Minimum 3 months truck driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Local intermodal freight operations.
• Approximately 1,175 miles per week.
• 100% container/chassis freight with 50% drop/hook and 50% live freight.
• Operate within safety and compliance guidelines.
