Job description

Local CDL-A Driver Wanted - $5,500 Sign On Bonus!

Be among the first 25 applicants. Position Summary: Merchandisers work in local stores to keep Coca-Cola products fully stocked on the shelves. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts.

Position Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To:

  1. Maintaining product in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by identifying replenishment needs; transporting product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment (e.g., pallet jack, handtruck); replenishing, facing, and rotating product; building, changing, and taking down product displays; maintaining product signage; cleaning product space; and securing damaged or defective product.
  2. Managing backroom organization and consolidating backstock.
  3. Monitoring and reporting backstock inventory levels.
  4. Evaluating and processing damaged or defective product.
  5. Re-packing product and organizing backroom materials (e.g., pallets, product shells).
  6. Operating powered equipment (e.g., straddle stacker, powered pallet jack) and manual equipment (e.g., pallet jack).
  7. Completing store documentation and cleaning backroom.
  8. Communicating with store and company personnel about the status and concerns of areas of responsibility.
  9. Identifying and reporting unsafe working conditions.
  10. Attending and completing company training and certifications, following policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety, and adhering to local, state, and federal laws.
  11. Utilizing a mobile device to complete work activities and operating a motor vehicle.
  12. Providing customer service by addressing concerns, answering questions, locating products, and assisting store personnel.
  13. Performing other projects or duties as assigned.

Required Skills And Experience:

  • Must be at least 18 years old or meet minimum state legal age requirements.
  • Six (6) months of work experience in a relevant environment involving heavy lifting and multi-temperature conditions.
  • Reliable transportation, acceptable driving record, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance coverage.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly.
  • Pass post-offer drug test and background check.

Preferred Skills And Experience:

  • Beverage industry experience.
  • Customer service experience.
  • One year experience with manual or powered pallet jacks.
  • Straddle stacker and powered pallet jack certifications.

Physical Demands And Work Environment:

  • Repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, and manipulating objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Operating manual transport equipment over distances.
  • Standing at least 6 hours and walking at least 4 miles daily.
  • Ability to read small to large print and perform physical activities over sustained periods.
