Position Summary

Merchandisers work in local stores to keep Coca-Cola products fully stocked on the shelves. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts.

Position Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To

1. Maintaining product in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers; identifying replenishment needs; transporting product between backroom and display floor; utilizing hand tools; replenishing, facing, and rotating product; building and changing displays; maintaining signage; cleaning and securing damaged product.
2. Managing backroom by organizing and consolidating backstock, monitoring inventory levels, and processing damaged or defective product.
3. Re-packing and organizing backroom materials.
4. Operating powered and manual equipment such as pallet jacks and straddle stackers.
5. Completing store documentation and maintaining cleanliness.
6. Communicating with store and company personnel regarding status and concerns.
7. Reporting unsafe conditions and attending company training and certifications.
8. Following laws, policies, and using mobile devices for work activities.
9. Operating a motor vehicle.
10. Providing customer service by addressing concerns, answering questions, and assisting with product location.
11. Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Skills And Experience

1. Must be at least 18 years old or meet state legal age requirements.
2. Six months of work experience in physically demanding roles or environments.
3. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
4. High school diploma or GED.
5. Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly.
6. Pass a post-offer drug test and background check.

Preferred Skills And Experience

1. Beverage industry experience.
2. Customer service and problem-solving experience.
3. Experience with manual or powered pallet jacks, and relevant certifications.

Physical Demands And Work Environment
