Position Summary

Merchandisers work in local stores to keep Coca-Cola products fully stocked on the shelves. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts.

Position Responsibilities (May Include but Not Limited To)

• Maintain products on store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by identifying replenishment needs; transport products between backroom and display floor using manual equipment (e.g., pallet jack, handtruck); build, change, and take down product displays; maintain signage; clean and secure damaged products.
• Manage backroom inventory by organizing and consolidating backstock, monitor and report inventory levels, evaluate and process damaged products, re-pack products, organize backroom materials, operate powered and manual equipment, and complete store documentation.
• Communicate with store and company personnel regarding responsibilities, report unsafe conditions, attend training, and follow policies and laws.
• Utilize a mobile device for work activities and operate a motor vehicle.
• Provide customer service by resolving concerns, answering questions, and assisting store personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

• Must be at least 18 years old or meet state legal age requirements.
• Six months of work experience in a relevant environment (e.g., warehouse, construction, healthcare, etc.) involving heavy lifting.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver license, acceptable driving record, and auto insurance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly.
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Beverage industry experience.
• Customer service experience.
• One year of experience with manual or powered pallet jacks.
• Straddle stacker and powered pallet jack certifications.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling objects up to 50 lbs.
• Operate manual transport equipment over distances.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Stand for at least 6 hours, walk at least 4 miles per day.
