Position Summary

Merchandisers work in local stores to keep Coca-Cola products fully stocked on the shelves. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain product in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers; identify replenishment needs; transport products using manual equipment; replenish, face, and rotate products; build and change displays; maintain signage; clean spaces; secure damaged products.
• Manage backroom by organizing and consolidating stock; monitor inventory levels; evaluate and process damaged products; re-pack products; organize backroom materials; operate powered and manual equipment; complete documentation; clean backroom.
• Communicate with store and company personnel; report unsafe conditions; attend training; follow policies and laws; use mobile devices; operate vehicles; provide customer service; handle inquiries and concerns; perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 18 years old or meet state legal age requirements.
• Six months of work experience in relevant environments involving heavy lifting.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver license, acceptable driving record, and auto insurance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly.
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.

Preferred Skills

• Beverage industry experience.
• Customer service experience.
• One year experience with manual or powered pallet jacks.
• Straddle stacker and pallet jack certifications.

Physical Demands and Environment

Repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling objects up to 50 lbs; operating equipment; standing at least 6 hours; walking at least 4 miles; reading small to large print; reasonable accommodations available. Overtime and punctuality are essential due to delivery schedules and legal requirements.
