Position Summary

Merchandisers work in local stores to keep Coca-Cola products fully stocked on the shelves. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts.

Position Responsibilities

1. Maintains product in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by identifying replenishment needs; transporting product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment (e.g., pallet jack, handtruck); utilizing hand tools; replenishing, facing, and rotating product; building, changing, and taking down product displays; maintaining product signage; cleaning product space; and securing damaged or defective product.
2. Manages backroom by organizing and consolidating backstock (product).
3. Identifies, monitors, and reports backstock inventory levels.
4. Evaluates and processes damaged or defective product.
5. Re-packs product.
6. Organizes backroom materials (e.g., pallets, product shells).
7. Operates powered equipment (e.g., straddle stacker, powered pallet jack) and manual equipment (e.g., pallet jack).
8. Completes store documentation.
9. Maintains areas of responsibility in designated accounts by communicating status and concerns to store and company personnel.
10. Identifies and reports unsafe working conditions.
11. Attends and completes company training and certifications; follows company and store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety.
12. Follows applicable local, state, and federal laws.
13. Utilizes a mobile device to complete work activities.
14. Operates a motor vehicle.
15. Provides customer service to consumers and store personnel by identifying and resolving concerns.
16. Answers questions, locates product, and responds to assistance requests.
17. Performs other projects or duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

• Must be at least 18 years of age or meet minimum state legal age requirements.
• Must have six (6) months of work experience in roles involving heavy lifting or physical work, such as warehouse, construction, or healthcare environments.
• Reliable automobile transportation, an acceptable driving record, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance coverage are required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift products weighing 25 to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Must pass a post-offer drug test and background check.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Beverage industry experience.
• Customer service experience in solving issues/problem solving.
• One year of experience with manual or powered pallet jacks.
• Straddle stacker certification.
• Powered pallet jack certification.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Ability to lift, carry, and position objects up to 50 pounds repeatedly without assistance.
• Ability to push and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds, including manual transport equipment, over distances.
• Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for manipulating objects.
• Ability to stand for at least 6 hours and walk at least 4 miles during the workday.

• Overtime and punctuality are essential due to delivery schedules and DOT regulations.
