Position Summary

Merchandisers work in local stores to keep Coca-Cola products fully stocked on the shelves. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts.

Position Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To

• Maintaining product in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers; replenishing, facing, and rotating products; building and taking down displays; maintaining signage; cleaning spaces; securing damaged products.
• Managing backroom inventory and consolidating stock.
• Identifying, monitoring, and reporting inventory levels; evaluating damaged products; re-packing and organizing backroom materials.
• Operating powered and manual equipment like pallet jacks and straddle stackers.
• Completing store documentation and maintaining cleanliness.
• Communicating with store and company personnel about store conditions and safety concerns.
• Following safety policies and legal requirements; using mobile devices for work activities; operating vehicles.
• Providing customer service by resolving concerns, answering questions, and assisting with product location.
• Performing other assigned duties.

Required Skills And Experience

• At least 18 years old or meeting state legal age requirements.
• Six months of relevant work experience involving heavy lifting or physical work.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly.
• Passing a drug test and background check.

Preferred Skills And Experience

• Beverage industry experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience with manual or powered pallet jacks (1 year preferred).
• Certifications for straddle stacker and powered pallet jack (preferred).

Physical Demands And Work Environment

• Repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling objects up to 50 lbs.
• Operating transport equipment for at least 100 yards.
• Fine motor skills for manipulating objects.
• Standing for at least 6 hours and walking 4 miles daily.
