Position Summary
Merchandisers work in local stores to keep Coca-Cola products fully stocked on the shelves. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts.
Position Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To
- Maintaining product in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers; replenishing, facing, and rotating products; building and changing displays; maintaining signage; cleaning and securing damaged products.
- Managing backroom inventory, organizing backstock, and reporting inventory levels.
- Evaluating damaged or defective products and re-packing as needed.
- Organizing backroom materials and operating manual and powered equipment.
- Completing store documentation and maintaining cleanliness.
- Communicating with store and company personnel about the status and concerns of responsibilities.
- Identifying unsafe conditions and attending required training and certifications.
- Following laws and company policies, utilizing mobile devices, and operating a motor vehicle.
- Providing customer service by resolving concerns and assisting customers and store personnel.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Required Skills And Experience
- Must be at least 18 years old or meet state legal age requirements.
- Six months of relevant work experience involving heavy lifting or physical work.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly.
- Pass post-offer drug test and background check.
Preferred Skills And Experience
- Beverage industry experience and customer service skills.
- Experience with manual or powered pallet jacks, certifications preferred.
Physical Demands And Work Environment
- Ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Ability to stand for at least 6 hours and walk at least 4 miles during shifts.
- Ability to manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills.
- Work may require overtime, adherence to delivery schedules, and compliance with DOT hours of service.
