Position Summary

Merchandisers work in local stores to keep Coca-Cola products fully stocked on the shelves. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts.

Position Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To

1. Maintaining product in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by identifying replenishment needs, transporting product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment (e.g., pallet jack, handtruck), utilizing hand tools, replenishing, facing, and rotating product, building, changing, and taking down product displays, maintaining signage, cleaning, and securing damaged or defective product.
2. Managing backroom by organizing and consolidating backstock, identifying, monitoring, and reporting inventory levels, evaluating and processing damaged product, re-packing, organizing backroom materials, and operating powered and manual equipment.
3. Completing store documentation, cleaning backroom, and maintaining areas of responsibility by communicating with store and company personnel.
4. Identifying and reporting unsafe conditions, attending training, following policies, and complying with laws.
5. Utilizing a mobile device for work activities and operating a motor vehicle.
6. Providing customer service by resolving concerns, answering questions, locating products, and responding to requests.
7. Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Skills And Experience

• Must be at least 18 years old or meet state legal age requirements.
• Six months of work experience in a relevant environment involving heavy lifting.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver license, and auto insurance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly.
• Pass a post-offer drug test and background check.

Preferred Skills And Experience

• Beverage industry experience.
• Customer service experience.
• One year of experience with manual or powered pallet jacks.
• Straddle stacker and powered pallet jack certifications.

Physical Demands And Work Environment

• Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to push and pull objects and equipment over distances.
• Ability to perform physical activities for extended periods.
• Ability to read small to large print.
• Stand for at least 6 hours and walk at least 4 miles during the shift.
