Position Summary

Merchandisers work in local stores to keep Coca-Cola products fully stocked on the shelves. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts.

Position Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To

• Maintaining product in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers; replenishing, facing, and rotating product; building and taking down displays; maintaining signage; cleaning and securing damaged product.
• Managing backroom inventory, organizing backstock, and reporting inventory levels.
• Evaluating and processing damaged or defective products, re-packing, and organizing backroom materials.
• Operating powered and manual equipment such as pallet jacks and straddle stackers.
• Completing store documentation and maintaining cleanliness.
• Communicating with store and company personnel about the status and concerns of responsibilities.
• Identifying and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Following company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
• Utilizing mobile devices for work activities and operating a motor vehicle.
• Providing customer service, resolving concerns, and assisting store personnel.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Skills And Experience

• Must be at least 18 years old or meet state legal age requirements.
• Six months of work experience in physically demanding roles (e.g., warehouse, construction, healthcare, etc.).
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and auto insurance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly.
• Must pass drug test and background check.

Preferred Skills And Experience

• Beverage industry experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience with manual or powered pallet jacks.
• Straddle stacker and pallet jack certifications.

Physical Demands And Work Environment

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to work standing for at least 6 hours and walk at least 4 miles per day.
• Ability to manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills.
