Job summary

ABF Freight®, an ArcBest® company, is seeking a professional truck driver for local pickup and delivery duties within proximity to our consolidation/distribution center. You will handle loading and unloading of trailers using established procedures and work a schedule that varies by terminal location.

Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience is required. A Class A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker and hazmat endorsements and no automatic restriction is essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience.
• Safety-minded with a clean MVR.
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and delivery of cargo to and from destinations near the distribution center.
• Load and unload trailers using standard dock procedures.
• Shift days and hours vary by location and may include nights or weekends.
