Job summary

ABF Freight is seeking a driver to perform local pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity to our consolidation/distribution centers. You will load and unload trailers using standard dock procedures, with duties varying by terminal location.

The role requires 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience, a Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker and hazmat endorsements, and the ability to pass a DOT drug screen and medical exam. Shift days/hours vary by site.

Requirements

Experience:

• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (Candidates with less than 1 year experience may be eligible for training).

Certifications:

• Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker and hazardous materials endorsements and no automatic restriction

Additional Requirements:

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Good stable work record.
• Safe driving record (from MVR and previous employment).
• Be able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements.
• Shift days and hours required for this position vary by location and may include days, nights, and/or weekends. Being able to work the required hours at this location will be considered a minimum requirement.
