Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Front Desk Security Officer at a commercial real estate location in Los Angeles, CA. This part-time role involves greeting visitors, controlling access, and ensuring safety through monitoring systems and clear communication.

You will support tenants and employees, handle deliveries, and coordinate with building management. The position offers a flexible daytime schedule and opportunities for growth within a leading security services company.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and front-desk policies at a commercial real estate location.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access records in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or equipment concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Assist with directing guests, managing deliveries, answering phones, and communicating with building management, tenants, and emergency responders as needed.
