Job summary

Halstead Management LLC is seeking a professional concierge to safeguard the building, screen visitors, and maintain a secure, orderly lobby. You will monitor all activity, manage deliveries, and coordinate with superintendents and handymen during emergencies.

Esteemed candidates will stay alert at all times, avoid personal use of the front desk and phones, and ensure all trades and contractors are properly cleared and logged.

Responsibilities

• Review the log book and log shift start time.
• Guard lobby areas, screen visitors, workmen, and deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, orderly front desk and lobby at all times.
• Monitor lobby continuously; avoid unnecessary back-room access.
• No sleeping or personal calls while on shift; keep phone on vibrate.
• Do not use front desk computer or residents' devices for personal use.
• Accept package deliveries and notify residents promptly.
• Call Superintendent or handyman in emergencies; follow posted emergency numbers.
• Do not leave post without relief or when doors are unlocked; place sign during breaks.
• Clear all tradesmen with the Superintendent; verify insurance credentials.
• Record sign-in/out for contractors; ensure proper authorization.
• Do not discuss resident information; direct inquiries to Superintendent or Property Manager.
